The actor actually ate parathas, momos andbananas while she wastrying to get thinThe actor's nutritionist and dietician Rujuta Diwekar reveals that Kareena never went on a crash diet. Actually she was eating the so called fattening foods all through.
Kareena's dietician also reveals that Kareena came to her to knock those extra kilos off her body because her role in the film Tashan required her to sport the lean and thin look.
Kareena plays a call centre employee in the movie who's always looking for opportunities to cheat people and "somebody who can never be trusted".
Said Rujuta, "Kareena gave me a brief saying that her character required her to be lean and sexy. She wanted a diet that'd help to lose weight. I knew that Kareena is a pure vegetarian and I wondered if she'd be able to achieve her target of losing certain kilos by just having a vegetarian diet."
Kareena has been strict and regular at her fitness regime. "But she was never pencil thin, so I planned her diet that consisted of healthy nutritious food," Rujuta added.
Kareena has religiously stuck to her diet and is feeling more energetic, healthier and sexy.
"She wants her fans to know that she has achieved her body, over a period of time, by being dedicated and disciplined about her eating and fitness habits. She (Kareena) is massively into a strict exercise regime of yoga which she practices for almost two hours a day, the dietician revealed.Kareena's dietician also reveals the actor's diet, "She has been eating parathas, momos, cheese, pastas, bananas. kareena kapoor weight loss has given a new hope to girls to maintian their figure. Kareena weight loss was not as easy as we see her. Before Yaadein, Kareena called me as she wanted to lose weight in a short span for the movie. She’s always been a typical Punjabi girl. The Kapoor family is known for their love for food and she typifies it. In her career so far, she hasn’t had a perfect-10 body but has managed to be one of the most attractive actresses thanks to her complexion, figure and attitude. She does not need to acquire an absolutely appropriate body fat ratio; she looks hot even without that. Yes, I certainly feel that lately, she’s been looking anorexic. Excessive dieting leads to bone degeneration. When one becomes obsessed with achieving a perfect figure and works out endlessly it leads to a destruction of the body.
Kareena looks like she has gone flat. She may have done it for a particular role she is playing. Sometimes fitness trainers also give a lot of wrong nutrients. Going vegetarian is a healthy way. If she is starving, it’s not good for her. In the process, the body loses a lot of nutrients, and ill-health sets in.
My point is that why should one overdo the diet and exercise and end up looking anorexic. In this industry there’s a lot of insecurity. One is forced to match up with the rest. Competition often makes actors resolve to desperate measures.
I trained Preity Zinta in 45 days for Salaam Namaste but it was not a hardcore, brutal training. To achieve and maintain a great body, you need discipline most of all. You cannot change your genetics, body design ever. Fitness and health should be part of everyone’s time tables.
Steroids, supplements, synthetic ingestions, fat-burning products wreak havoc with one’s nervous system, digestive system and hormonal system. This reflects in the attitude, thought process and behavior pattern.
Bollywood stars should take a cue from Hollywood personalities, who make health and not fitness their priority. Human beings should not look as they were manufactured on assembly lines. An obsession for perfection leads to paranoia.
